I don't know where all the snow went but I want it back! I am also now on supervised visitation only to MY YARD! Big D didn't like the remodeling I did to the rose bushes, raspberry patch or the awesome trails I put in the Catoni Aster hedge. He also saw some of Ozzie's work, I was so impressed with your pool! I also got a Diggler scooter to match my eyes but I think it all a mass conspiracy to pull my lazy humans around. My new harness should be here soon from Alpine Outfitters may the urban mushing begin...or so someone thinks. I have also been hearing the word brother lately mom says YES but Big D is not so sure. Any help to get a brother would me much appreciated.

What’s your problem? I Love this stuff!! We will soon be in our 6th month with snow on the ground. One spoiled girl loves it and the other has had enough already. I was determined to take back our patio after it being clear of snow for only 3 or 4 days when we got another 9+ inches. More snow is set for early next week, the Siberians must of taken over the forecast!

Last summer Suka ran threw our screen at leas 3 times either running into the house or bolting after a squirrel, bunnies & birds.

Ah yes birds, the bird count has also started. She got her first bird of the season and she was on the leash!! UGH all I saw was feathers sticking out of either side of her mouth... Needless to say I was so grossed out and big D just laughed! I think it was a sparrow looking for cover by our front door.

The snow pack is slowly melting but we could have a spring storm in a few days, what will it be rain or snow?

I am so excited, the March/ April issue of Bark (thebark.com) came out today and Suka is on pg 24! I had sent in her picture this summer and had totally forgotten about it. I received an email last month to let me know she was selected! I didn't remember what picture I sent but here it is!!! We had taken Suka to Medora for her first camping trip. On the way home we made a pit stop and Suka had just woken up.

I can't wait until spring... more trips to Medora and summer fun...I am so ready for spring. Reality is... we have almost 6 inches of fresh snow on the ground with a temp. of 2 and a stiff wind...Hopefully all the snow will be gone within the next 2 months.

She must be dreaming of the snow or happy that I washed her blanket! We have been able to walk the last few days and it has given us both a much needed attitude adjustment.

Suka was being so dramatic last night whining for her dinner. She is so funny and talkative. I need to learn how to use the video function on my phone... It must be the shredded carrots and bit of cheddar she likes so much. It has helped slow down her eating. She used to finish a cup of food in less then 30 seconds, now it’s a few minutes.

Yummy, I made Banana Bran Muffins this AM. I even got Big D to take some to work. I mixed the dry ingredients before I went to bed. The recipe is from The Joy of Muffins, The International Muffin Cook Book.
1 ½ C Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Soda
1/4 C Sugar (called for ½)
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1 C unprocessed Bran
1 ½ C Mashed Bananas
2 TBS Water
1 tsp Vanilla
1 beaten Egg
1/4 C Melted Butter
optional to add
3/4 C Raisins
1 C Pecans
375 degrees
20-25 Min
makes 12
They are very good and probably wont last long.
